Tom’s job is pretty simple. He makes sure our customers don’t need to worry about breakdowns.
Why breakdowns? They are expensive.

The old saying goes, “If it’s got tits, tracks or tyres, it’s gonna cost you money”. The first one, we can’t do much about. But Tom has spent the last 17 years obsessed with reliability.

He believes people deserve equipment they can depend on every single day.

Tom started Catchlove Mechanical in 2021 because he was frustrated. Frustrated with an industry that had forgotten how important it is to take pride in your work. Frustrated that customer satisfaction didn’t seem to matter anymore.

With his passion for the trade, his tools, and his wife’s Prado (2021 was not a good time to be trying to buy work utes). Catchlove Mechanical was born. The business has grown since then. We now help clients across Western Australia and the Northern Territory get the most from their assets.

The labour shortage isn’t going away. Australia’s population is aging and people are retiring. Every year less people enter the workforce to take their place. If the Australian economy is going to continue you grow, we need to do more with less resources.

We know the solution to these problems isn’t a simple fix. Our solution? A combination of changing the way we work and using technology to unlock new insights in equipment performance.

In the background, we are working on some exciting projects in this space. Its a big goal for a small company, but we aim to have a lasting impact on productivity in our industry.
